Corset Couture for relief of SPD in pregnancy

Corset Couture

I commissioned the manufacture of Lafeenoire “Corset Couture” to address a need for a Maternity SPD band that was not only effective in symptom relief but also was relatively attractive to wear. The condition SPD prompts Medics to prescribe the usual pain killers along with support garments that appear to be immobilizing girdles. Most of these garments immobilise the hips but are not so effective in supporting the baby bump at the same time. By doing so you automatically offer relief of the strain caused by the weight of the growing bump and so allow for more comfort for both the lower back and the hip area.

A close friend of mine suffered during her pregnancy and following the birth was instructed to wear a support girdle.
As many ladies, I like to imagine that anything I wear as an intimate item should have a girly appeal and so Corset Couture was designed to not only act as a medical aid but also as an attractive and comfortable garment. The lace version is in production at the moment and will sit well alongside a ladies favourite lingerie set. Currently available in Nude and the second generation garment is to be Nude with lace .

welcome to Lafeenoire Maternity

My name is Rachel and after training as a Beauty Therapist I left the Cosmetics industry to embark on a 12 year career as a recruitment consultant (Executive Head-hunter) for the luxury goods industry and progressed through the ranks of Consultant through to Divisional Managing Director. Following a successful period of self-employment I then met my husband and started a family. I am a full time mum and fit my business commitments around my two year old daughter and two part time stepsons. I view myself as blessed with the support of my family to pursue my dream to grow a successful online maternity business, Lafeenoire Maternity. As well as offering a great range of Designer and High street maternity clothes (including plus sizes) and accessories, I plan to support a growing number of ladies who suffer from a very common yet sadly little supported condition , Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction.
